The Gennett Mansion, Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features 8 fireplaces, 2 antique Italian crystal chandeliers, an antique “Starr” baby grand, a gracious staircase and gorgeous hardwood floors. We have 5 private dining rooms for 8 to 24 and can accommodate for dinner up to 54 in the North Gallery, 28 in the East Gallery, and 56 in our conservatory. Let our Staff Create the perfect setting for your next Business event, retreat, seminar or special occasion.

We offer one of the most beautiful and romantic facilities in the Eastern Indiana region to host a wedding, reception or rehearsal dinner. We have several settings inside and out for the ceremony or formal and informal wedding portraits: the grand staircase, the conservatory hearth, the entrance hall stone hearth, the Rose Room, and the Setting Sun Conservatory. We offer individual attention to detail to make your event both personal and smooth.

The Gennett Mansion is the ideal setting for significant occasions such as Golden Anniversary Dinners, Family Reunions, Class Reunions, Birthday Celebrations and Holiday Parties.

The Gennett Mansion is the perfect venue for your retreat, seminar or conference. We offer meeting space for 8 to 60 and additional break out rooms for smaller groups.

The Gennett Mansion has a list of approved caterers. Alcohol beverages may be served with a licensed caterer or by special permit. Tables, Chairs, Linens, and Tableware are available for rental. We are a non-smoking facility.

Clients may reserve a day & time for seven days without obligation. If at any time another client wants the same day & time, the first client will be given 24 hours to confirm the day and time by making the required deposit. A non-refundable Booking deposit of $100 is required to confirm the day and time and must accompany a signed contract. A refundable damage deposit of $200.00 is required 30 (Thirty) days prior to the event. See contract for additional details.

Clients may choose the time of day for their event, if available, Monday through Thursday at any time.  Friday and Saturday events need to be scheduled before 3:00pm or after 4:00pm.

SPECIAL EVENTS & PRIVATE PARTIES
Anniversary’s, Banquets, Birthday’s, Bridal and Baby Showers, Celebration Dinners, Dances, Exhibits, Fashion Shows, Graduations, Holiday Parties, Rehearsal Dinners and Reunions.
Monday – Thursday $75/hr
Friday – Sunday $100/hr

CONFERENCES, MEETINGS, RETREATS & SEMINARS
$25 an hour or $125 for the day,
Monday – Thursday.
Friday is Available until 3:00 Pm only.
We have high-speed wireless Internet access. Podium, projector & screens are available for rent. Catering packages are available.

WEDDING CEREMONY & RECEPTION
Monday – Thursday $100/hr
Friday – Sunday $150/hr

The Gennett Mansion offers old world ambience in an elegant home for your wedding ceremony, reception, bridal shower or rehearsal dinner. We specialize in small, intimate weddings and vow renewals. Romantic and charming, the private use of The Gennett Mansion includes a bride’s room, tables & chairs, linens in white, dishware, choice of recorded music and player, and our dedicated staff to make your special day memorable. Several Wedding packages are available including our historic Richmond, Romantic Richmond, Elegant Gennett, and Classic Gennett. We have Elopement & Vow Renewal Packages, too.
