The Gennett Mansion offers old world ambience in an elegant home for your wedding ceremony, reception, bridal shower or rehearsal dinner. We specialize in small, intimate weddings and vow renewals. Romantic and charming, the private use of The Gennett Mansion includes a bride’s room, tables & chairs, linens in white, dishware, choice of recorded music and player, and our dedicated staff to make your special day memorable. Several Wedding packages are available including our historic Richmond, Romantic Richmond, Elegant Gennett, and Classic Gennett. We have Elopement & Vow Renewal Packages, too.

Rental Amenities for Weddings and/or Receptions at the Hourly Rate includes the following:
* Event Coordinator consultation for up to 2 hours.
* Chairs
* Tables
* Linens in White for Events Held Inside
* Gennett China and tableware for Inside Events
* One-hour rehearsal
* Two-hour set-up prior to social events
* Access to changing rooms for the bridal party
* Parking lot located behind (south) the building.
* Street parking with drop-off area for guests.
To reserve a date:
A contract must be completed and a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 must be paid. A refundable damage deposit of $200.00 must be paid thirty days prior to the event. Dates will not be held without the appropriate fees and a signed contract.
The Gennett Mansion reserves the right to review its rates at any time and all pricing is subject to change. Rental rates and equipment availability are subject to change.

Early entry prior to scheduled event set-up is not permitted.
Only caterers on our approved list will be permitted to cater on The Gennett Mansion property. Approved catering list is subject to change.
The property at The Gennett Mansion has a tent location for outside functions. Additional charges apply.
